Olympus has unveiled a further trio of digital compacts aiming for ease of use and affordability in these credit crunch times...

The affordable new range of FE cameras by Olympus, the FE-5020, FE-4000 and FE-26 are designed for users who want high quality images, regardless of their budget. Easy to use the cameras can be used straight out of the box.
Starting from just £99 the cameras let you take great looking pictures that can be blown up to poster style prints. A wide zoom function is great for group shots and close-ups of distant subjects and all three FE cameras have a clever AF tracking function for sharp images, even if your subject is moving. Advanced Face Detection for up to 16 people allows for perfectly focused and exposed faces and an intelligent i-Auto option allows the camera to automatically adjust to five common scenes. The FE-4000 and FE-5020 digital cameras also have the Magic Filter functions, which let you explore your creative side.
Olympus FE-26 Digital Camera - £99
Available in flamingo pink, cornflower blue and cosmic black; the Olympus FE-26 digital camera benefits from a generous 6.9 cm/2.7 inch display for you to frame and review your pictures. Perfect for life on the go, the camera takes great looking pictures even if your subjects are moving and Dual Image Stabilisation ensures blur-free images even in crowded environments. The camera also features Advanced Face Detection and you can record movies with sound.
Olympus FE-4000 Digital Camera - £139
Available in five stunning colours; pure white, dark grey, metal magenta, arctic blue and tangerine orange; the Olympus FE-4000 digital cameras have a double-layered crystal shell finish. The extra slim camera is perfect for slipping into your handbag or pocket and taking out and about. A wide zoom function makes taking group shots easy every time and an AF tracking function allows for sharp images even if your subject is moving. Advanced Face Detection and Dual Image Stabilisation ensure great pictures every time and you can get creative with four Magic Filters; Pop Art, Fish Eye, Sketch and Pin Hole. You can also record movies with sound.
Olympus FE-5020 Digital Camera - £169
Available in pure white, dark grey, mocha brown and ocean blue the super slim Olympus FE-5020 digital camera leads the way in the FE series. With a super wide zoom, AF tracking, Dual Image Stabilisation and Advanced Face Detection your photos will always look sharp, even when you are taking pictures of large groups in a moving crowd. Four Magic Filters let you explore your creative side. The Pop Art filter enhances the colour in the picture, making colours stronger and more vivid for a high-impact, happy picture. Other filters include, Pin Hole, Fish Eye and Sketch. You can also record movies with sound.
